Role Overview
As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership for all of our financial operations. Collaborating with the President and senior management, you will offer invaluable advice and counsel while driving financial success and supporting our business objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Focus:
Work with Global Finance Services and senior leaders to shape our strategic vision and cultivate strategic relationships.
Identify profitable service lines and clients to maximize return on investments.
Act as a strategic thinker on the leadership team, ensuring the alignment of business objectives.
Represent our company with clients, prospects, and business partnerships, showcasing your polished and professional business acumen.
Develop and maintain dynamic pricing models to ensure cost coverage, margin targets, and informed decision making.
Tactical/Operational Duties
Forecast capital, facilities, and staff requirements, and develop action plans.
Report financial status, analyze variances, and propose improvements.
Develop financial models, policies, and procedures to support organizational objectives.
Evaluate trends, establish critical measurements, and implement change strategies.
Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced systems.
Provide financial analyses and reporting to operational leaders.
Collaborate with internal partners on financial and tax strategies.
Oversee budgetary planning and cost management aligned with the strategic plan.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.
Manage financial transactions, capital requests, and internal controls.
Report financial status of clients, monitor performance, and develop improvement strategies.
Maintain general ledger structure and enable financial statement preparation.
Qualifications
Professional Experience:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, MBA, or CPA preferred, with a focus on Accounting or Finance.
10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, preferably within the healthcare, provider, TPA, or medical device sectors.
Leadership And Strategy
A proven leader who can drive sustainable change and deliver results.
Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, with experience in providers, payers, or manufacturers.
Strong people management skills, including recruiting, mentoring, and inspiring individuals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively.
