Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive top-notch support and maintain optimal system functionality. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing both remote and on-site support to our clients.
Handling complex escalations from our support desk and diligently troubleshooting them to resolution.
Identifying root causes of challenging technical problems, devising action plans, and executing them effectively.
Delivering proactive maintenance services to our clients and assisting in managing technology implementation projects.
Striving for continuous improvement in processes and documentation.
Communicating confidently with clients, team members, and technology vendors, including making necessary phone calls when required.
Skills & Experience Required
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
Proficiency in supporting Microsoft-related technologies.
In-depth knowledge of Windows Servers (including FSMO, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Strong expertise in Active Directory and Azure.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including administration.
Experience with Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams Online.
Competence in Intune and Azure AD.
Virtualization experience with VMWare and Hyper-V.
Proficiency in firewall implementation and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of complex networking environments.
Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and File Sharing, among others.
Recommended Knowledge, Skills, And Competencies
The following qualifications are a plus:
A+, Net+, or Sec+ certifications or equivalent experience.
Experience with various modern operating systems.
Familiarity with documentation platforms like IT Glue.
Experience with Kaseya BMS and VSA.
