Job Description
We are currently searching for a dedicated Meeting/Event Assistant who will play a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic team. You'll collaborate closely with various departments, assisting them in organizing and orchestrating both live/in-person and virtual meetings and events.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of administrative tasks for our meetings and events, including
You will be an essential part of our mission to ensure seamless event experiences.
Tracking deliverables and timelines
Managing travel arrangements (airfare, hotel)
Maintaining and updating databases
Coordinating with vendors
Facilitating attendee registration
Handling general correspondence
Your role will occasionally require travel within the United States and internationally to support live/in-person events. We also welcome candidates with a 2-year degree coupled with relevant experience, particularly within nonprofit organizations. Essential qualifications for this position include prior project management experience (required), event planning expertise (preferred), and a knack for effective vendor management (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must.
The ideal candidate for this position is distinguished by their exceptional oral and written communication skills. With strong organizational acumen, you're adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in both independent and collaborative team environments. Salary: $ 55,000.00 60,000.00 Per Year
