We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Program Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development and management of various projects supporting our online graduate programs. You will drive the successful execution of ongoing projects while providing essential administrative support to ensure the seamless operation of the programs.
Responsibilities
Project Development and Management:
Take the lead in developing and managing projects that contribute to the growth and enhancement of our online graduate programs.
Collaborate with the Associate Director of Lifelong Learning and program faculty to ensure the effective management of ongoing projects.
Coordinate and track multiple projects with varying deadlines to ensure timely delivery of program objectives.
Administrative Support
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the online graduate programs, including organizing meetings, facilitating communication among faculty and staff, documenting detailed meeting notes, and monitoring progress.
Play a key role in internal and external reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Assist in convening departmental faculty committees and ensure the implementation of committee decisions.
Academic Advising And Support
Serve as the primary point of contact and academic advisor for students enrolled in our online graduate programs.
Guide students throughout their academic journey, from prospective students to graduates, by addressing inquiries, offering program information, performing degree audits, and aiding in course planning.
Collaborate with the Distance Education Support Team to manage course schedules, coordinate faculty assignments, report grades, and facilitate course evaluations.
Course Development And Maintenance
Collaborate with program faculty and the College of Pharmacy Instructional Designer to develop and maintain courses in the Canvas platform.
Assist faculty in managing course materials, and communication, and ensure courses run smoothly during the semester.
Work directly with faculty to create new educational courses and update existing ones to align with current guidelines and literature.
Associate Director And Faculty Support
Act as a primary liaison for the Associate Director of Lifelong Learning, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, processing travel arrangements, and preparing necessary documentation.
Provide support to faculty members in various administrative tasks.
Financial Oversight
Monitor program budgets, expenses, and finances, including invoice reconciliation and coordination of honorariums with the College of Pharmacy HR Team.
Qualifications
Master's degree and at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred specialization in education, curriculum and instruction, or related fields.
Previous experience in student, faculty, or project coordination.
Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism in communication, and the ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Background or familiarity with pharmacy, health administration, public health, biology, or related disciplines.
Proficiency in instructional technology and teaching-support software, preferably at the post-secondary level.
Compensation And Benefits
Expected Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
