Position: Financial Accounting Analyst (Remote)

Reporting directly to the VP of Professional Services/Consulting, you'll have a significant impact on our clients' financial processes, decision-making, and overall satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with our team of Accounting Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, and Consultants to gain a deep understanding of our clients' financial processes utilizing Q360.
Engage directly with clients to resolve complex accounting and financial challenges.
Evaluate clients' existing financial systems, facilitate their transition to Q360, and provide comprehensive training.
Ensure compliance and readiness of accounting data.
Maintain high-quality accounting practices within Q360.
Provide expert guidance on developing client-facing financial reports (e.g., P&L, Balance Sheet) tailored to their unique business structures (companies, branches, departments, locations, sales types, etc.).
Facilitate month-end and year-end accounting and closing procedures.
Offer insights into best practices for managerial and financial reporting.
Assist in structuring Executive management agendas and reports with a focus on project, managerial, and financial perspectives.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of broad-based accounting experience in roles such as Corporate Finance or Financial Planning/Strategy.
CGA/CPA/CMA designation or equivalent auditing experience, preferably with a minimum of 3 years auditing small businesses.
Proficiency in Accounting software, including Quickbooks, with the ability to quickly adapt to and train on Q360.
Experience with ERP Systems implementations (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, etc.).
Strong business analysis skills and a solid grasp of financial accounting principles (assets vs. expenses, trial balances, etc.).
Thorough understanding of industry rules, regulations, and compliance (GAAP).
Proficiency in MS Office programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide our clients through the transition to a new accounting system (Q360) and methods, requiring a high degree of cognitive empathy. You'll equip them with the knowledge, tools, and processes they need for success while addressing the challenges they may face during this transition.
