Position Overview
You will be responsible for assisting students with a variety of needs, from basic inquiries to technical troubleshooting. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will help create a positive atmosphere for students, ensuring they feel motivated and encouraged in their studies. You will connect students with the appropriate departments or resources and work collaboratively to enhance their learning experience.
Functional
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional verbal support that empowers and uplifts students in all interactions.
Address student inquiries, issues, and concerns, taking necessary actions to ensure student satisfaction.
Guide students through the process of logging into classes and resetting login credentials.
Assist students in reaching out to instructors, Student Finance, Academic Facilitation, and other support departments.
Confirm student book shipments and provide information about e-books.
Help students navigate the learning management system and discover educational resources.
Maintain service levels by efficiently handling calls while ensuring quality interactions.
Technical
Offer tier one technical support to students, enhancing their learning experience.
Document various call types received through the support queue.
Assess technical issues and provide valuable input to improve overall student satisfaction.
Preferred
Additional education beyond minimum requirements.
Previous customer service or technical support experience.
Working Environment
Relevant certifications, licenses, or additional skills.
This is a full-time remote position, offering flexibility.
Home office setup with a quiet workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Physical Demands
Involves prolonged periods of desk work and computer usage.
Occasional bending, stooping, and lifting of up to 10 lbs.
