Project Development & Environmental (Pd&E) Florida Leader - Remote | Wfh

We are seeking a dynamic PD&E Florida Leader to provide business development services, lead and manage a team, and oversee PD&E projects across the state of Florida.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior leadership to cultivate and strengthen client relationships, engage in business development efforts, and actively participate in industry organizations.
Establish and nurture relationships with key DOT clients, targeted clients, teaming partners, and subconsultants.
Take the lead in business development activities related to PD&E studies and transportation planning projects, including client engagement, proposal preparation, and presentations.
Provide leadership and supervision for PD&E efforts, including managing Project Managers and other team members, overseeing individual projects, maintaining department-wide schedules, and managing budgets to ensure deliverables align with company and client expectations.
Prepare and review work products for transportation projects and PD&E Studies, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field from an accredited university (Master’s Degree preferred).
Professional registration as a PE, AICP, or CEP, or PWS.
A minimum of 15 years of relevant transportation experience, including project management, in planning/PD&E, with a basic understanding of roadway and drainage design, project-level traffic forecasts, and traffic analysis.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of federal and state (FL) procedures and requirements.
Proven experience in managing Florida PD&E projects, including Type 2 CEs, SEIRs and PIERS, Feasibility studies.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Detail-oriented team player with the ability to foster a positive work environment.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
