Architectural Designer - Remote | Wfh

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate team member with exceptional design and problem-solving skills in the realm of Heavy Timber Structures. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to create, collaborate, and review awe-inspiring custom venues, including Wedding Venues, Wineries, Wine Tasting Venues, and Multi-use residential or commercial barn themed structures.
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting Schematic Designs and Construction Documents using the innovative Revit software. Your daily tasks will involve reviewing plans and projects, working closely with our Sales and Operations team, and maintaining clear communication with clients, architects, and engineers.

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to office drafting standards.
• Collaborate closely with the construction management and sales teams, ensuring the satisfaction of all parties involved and achieving seamless project execution for our contractors.
• Utilize BIM software to model, draft, and detail architectural designs throughout the Schematic Design and Construction Documents phases.
• Develop, refine, and implement systems and processes to optimize company operations.
• Professional License (Desirable).
• Possess knowledge of materials, codes, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Conduct code research and implement findings into projects.
• Collaborate with city officials and planners for valuable project guidance.
• Showcase strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of the architectural process, including space planning, programming, schematic design, code research, permitting processes, design drafting, project documentation, and construction administration. Collaborate with clients, Sales, and Operations teams during the preliminary design phase for each project.
• Possess a deep understanding of construction techniques, construction sciences, and Timber frame structures, leveraging previous construction experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in designing and documenting architectural plans and details for residential and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with Cadwork is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software and BlueBeam.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
