Interior Designer - Window Treatments

We are looking for a dynamic sales professional who loves creating beautiful window treatments and overseeing a specialized department. We carry plantation shutters, automated screen shades, and Hunter Douglas. We design custom draperies, bedding, and upholstery to create stunning luxurious interiors for our clientele.

Our Window Treatment Specialist-Sales position is a unique full-time opportunity, in a retail setting, for a design and sales professional who is passionate about window treatments and fabric. You will design and sell custom soft goods and assist our in-house designers with their design and sales of window treatments and bedding. You will have tens of thousands of the best fabrics and trims to choose from as well as access to every major hardware vendor. There is no limit to what you can design for our clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to draw simple scale drawings of window treatments
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to accurately measure for window treatments
• Attention to detail
• Able to handle several projects at one time
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Organized and detail orientated
• Knowledge and understanding of textiles
• Math skills, including measurements and calculations of repeats of fabric

Experience

• Window treatment sales - minimum of 3 years
• Design and decorating experience a plus
• Sewing ability/knowledge a plus
• Customer service and sales experience in a retail environment preferred

Education

• High school or equivalent required
