As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with key customers in the nuclear, hydrogen, industrial, and renewable energy markets in the eastern half of the United States and Canada. Your primary objective will be to drive new business through the promotion of Technetics' engineered products. This exciting role offers career growth potential and allows you to exceed customer expectations while working within a dynamic, ambitious, and growth-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support activities related to new product development projects to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering peers in Europe to promote cross selling and support global customers.
- Develop an individual tactical plan with 30-60-90 day goals in support of the strategic sales plan.
- Promote key engineered products from three North American and one French manufacturing site.
- Drive sales growth in the United States and Canada by engaging customers in the nuclear, hydrogen, industrial, and renewable energy markets.
- Prospect for new customers and increase account penetration.
- Identify customer needs and communicate customer expectations to the Sales Director and Plant Managers.
- Track new business opportunities and customer visit reports in Salesforce.com.
Desired Skills and Experiences
- Remote position with about 50% travel expected.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Professional sales skills and a proven track record of driving profitable growth.
- Experience in nuclear, hydrogen, industrial, or renewable energy markets
- Results-oriented and enthusiastic sales professional.
- Desire to serve in a consultative selling role, to build rapport with your customers and to reach trusted advisor status.
