Our goal is that every player, coach, and parent will have a positive, life-changing experience impacting their development while growing their passion for the sport in Rugby.


Due to exciting growth, inspiresport is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager in the United States to join our expanding team and lead our Rugby growth. This position will require the successful candidate to drive sales and revenue growth through relationship building, outbound phone calls, in-person meetings, presentations, and client events while executing our sales strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing key relationships within the Rugby landscape across youth, high school, college, and professional levels. The position requires a creative and results-oriented individual who thrives in a role that requires a high degree of independence, self-motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurship.


This is a varied & hands on role, as our new Business Development Manager you will:


  • Review, manage and grow the current database in your region
  • Main and monitor close communication with clients while traveling
  • Work with Operations to ensure trip details are accurate
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients and prospects
  • Maintain and monitor all progress, contacts, and personal sales activity
  • Collaborate effectively with department leaders and company leadership
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual individual performance goals
  • Generate leads and close business for international soccer travel & programming
  • Work consistently in our CRM maintaining accurate and up to date records
  • Create and customize quotes and itineraries
  • Attend weekly, monthly, and annual sales meetings
  • Constantly review and grow your sales pipeline to renew and win new business
  • Make outbound phone calls to set up meetings with qualified leads
  • Travel to meetings, presentations, conventions, and conferences
  • Support marketing initiatives and requested sales initiatives
  • Create formal presentations to present to potential clients
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations for successful trip execution


To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will:


  • Knowledge of international travel is highly advantageous
  • Possess excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess a passion for the sport of Rugby and for sales
  • Have strong experience working daily within a CRM.
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Have extensive B2B and B2C sales experience
  • Ability to work remotely, take initiative and solve problems
  • Coachable, goal-oriented and a team player
  • Have excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Have general knowledge of the sport of Rugby and the Rugby landscape (youth, HS, college, pro)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Have the ability to travel domestically
  • Have a proven track record of sales and developing new business
  • Unquestioned personal integrity
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to adapt and multi-task
