CNGR the world leader in PCAM supply to the EV Automotive industry is expanding its footprint in North America.We are looking for immediate hire the Business Development Manager focused on the EV battery recycling space.Be part of the leading global team that can fully realize today, a closed loop materials supply for advance materials.Position JD below.
·The CNGR team will expand with additional open positions in Project Management, Technical support, Construction and Process Engineers and logistics/purchasing roles.
Global Recycling Division: Business Development Manager-USA
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for Battery recycling business development and battery "closed-loop" in USA, including not limited to EoL battery collection, diagnosis, battery reuse and recycling, pre-treatment and post-treatment of battery
- Active involvement in building/maintaining key customer relationships - including not limited to battery producers, OEMs, battery recyclers, governmental organizations and companies in the value-chain of battery recycling
- Conducting market research to identify growth opportunities in the value-chain of battery industry, participate in trade shows and industry meetings to internally report "real-time" market intelligence
- Defining, leading and realizing new business projects in cooperation with the relevant and necessary specialist departments and initiating measures in the event of deviations
- Negotiating and closing business deals
- Collaboration with the R&D team, management group and conducting technical and commercial negotiation with customers
Qualification
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a sales/business development role in OR with LiB supply chain, battery recycling, OEMs or smelters/refineries.
- Deep knowledge and/or experience in sales, customer development, and the development and implementation of sales strategies at a regional/national and/or international level
- Project Management experience, working together with technical and commercial teams all whilst keeping in mind the client's objectives.
- Great teammate, proven to be able to build strong interpersonal skills with co-workers and (potential) customers, Must have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to motivate and engage
- Proficiency in English is a must, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
[Battery Recycling Business Development Staff]
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
- General knowledge of battery industry & recycling.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills & interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented, with experience organizing and coordinating the work of others.
- Fast learner & Self-Motivator with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in English is a must, both written and verbal.
- Preferably located in Cleveland region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preference
- Proficiency in Korean and Chinese language is interesting, but not required
- Strong commercial and sales talent from nature.
- Chemical or Engineering understanding
- Capable to technical consulting and technical negotiation with target customers in battery industry
- Willing to travel
