About The Healing NET Foundation
The Healing NET Foundation (HNF), a 501(c)(3) Tennessee nonprofit corporation, was established to bring different perspectives together addressing gaps in education and awareness for neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patients to get diagnosed sooner, live longer and experience a better quality of life. HNF was co-founded by a patient and a physician to address unmet needs in the NET community. HNF’s mission is to optimize the care of those with neuroendocrine cancer through the education of and collaboration among physicians, health care providers, patients, and caregivers.
Position Summary
The Development & Operations Manager is responsible for developing fundraising strategies to achieve greater efficiency and engagement with our donors, as well as managing the execution of back-office responsibilities. Healing NET is looking for a self-starter who has great attention to detail and needs little direction when getting tasks completed in a timely manner. This remote position requires exceptional organizational and collaboration skills, as well as, ethical conduct and a commitment to Healing NET’s mission. This role reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Senior Program Director.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1.Design and execute fundraising projects to engage more donors and manage the donor database.
2.Ensure operational compliance and effectiveness completing business-related tasks accurately and on time, including bookkeeping and program-related tasks
3.Liaise with all stakeholders (patients, physicians, Board, staff, vendors, donors, sponsors, related organizations, etc.).
4.Manage donor records and communication.
5.Track and report fundraising, financial, and other metrics to the staff, Board, and external stakeholders as appropriate
6.Support the work of the Executive Director, Senior Program Director, and Board of Directors.
Qualifications & Experience
·Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
·Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
·Coachable with ability to work independently, as well as on a team.
·Highly effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
·One to two years proven experience in fundraising
·Experience with Microsoft Office software and/or Google Apps is required
·CRM platform or donor database highly regarded
·Prior bookkeeping not required but a plus
·Availability some evenings and weekends as needed (overnight travel ~5% annually)
·Laptop or computer and reliable internet service
·Credit check, drug testing, and background check may be required
·Excellent references required
Full-time (35 hours/week) exempt position
Remote work with a flexible schedule
Salary range of $43,000 - $47,000 Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
