Business Development Manager (Required Agriculture Experience)

We are looking for one of our clients: a Business Development Manager for USA for Agriculture (must have industry related experience )

Our client is based in Argentina, Agtech company that currently operates in South America and USA. It´s a digital platform that enables companies to reward growers for their sustainable practices, in order to bring sustainability in farming at global scale and make agriculture a key contributor to addressing climate change.

Over 500 growers on 3M acres are benefiting from 20+ corporate customers providing benefits on the platform. Customers include grain traders like Cargill, input companies like Bayer, Profertil and BASF, CPGs like Bimbo and Fintechs like Traive among many others.

The candidate will: Lead the Business Development efforts in the US, Canada and Mexico. Focus on identifying opportunities across North America in the areas of traceability, product introductions, carbon credits, biofuels & climate finance. An experienced business development professional, passionate about sustainability, developing markets and technology applied to agriculture. Will report to the CIO.

The role:

• Self driven with an entrepreneurial mindset; 5+ years experience in AgTech is a plus
• +10 years of years of related work experience with agriculture, in business roles including marketing, product management, business development and/or strategy
• Holds an Ag and/or business related undergraduate degree
• Spanish skills nice to have
• MBA or similar is a plus
• Great analytical skills and ability to connect with all levels within and outside the company.
