Job Description
Job Overview
As the Business Development Lead, you will play a central role in identifying, structuring, and negotiating key deals with leading technology, medical, and defense enterprises to drive revenue. This is a sales-heavy role as you will own the sales funnel and be responsible for closing key accounts and hitting revenue targets within the medical education space.

Location: Hybrid (Office is near LAX - Must reside in Los Angeles, California)
Responsibilities
  • Maintain database to track partnering activities and provide regular status updates.
  • Domestic and International travel – up to 25%.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competition, and potential funding sources to drive business development efforts.
  • Deliver professional Sales presentations to potential partner organizations, persuading and closing business deals.
  • Cultivate and nurture ongoing relationships with existing partners, utilizing these connections to achieve greater collective impact.
  • Own and drive quarterly/yearly revenue targets, leveraging your expertise in strategic sales and business development.
  • Attend industry partnering meetings/conferences to source leads and stay on top of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, to structure and execute business initiatives.
  • Identify and close strategic business deals both domestically and internationally, with a strong focus on large enterprise accounts across a variety of verticals. Initial focus will be on expanding Arctop’s current business in the medical education space.
  • Develop and implement partnering strategies.
  • Identify and conceptualize new strategic initiatives that can be enhanced through corporate, foundation, government, or bilateral partnerships.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on pipeline, strategic partnerships, and management activities.
Qualifications
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, both financial and operational, to drive informed decision-making.
  • At least 7 years of successful enterprise sales/partnerships experience, ideally across a variety of verticals and with technical product knowledge. Healthcare or defense experience is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple relationships simultaneously
  • Experience negotiating and collaborating with high-level executives.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business Administration or a technical field preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve in a collaborative team environment with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Note: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and an entrepreneurial approach to identifying new opportunities.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development.
  • Strong business presentation and communication skills with the approach needed to interact with stakeholders that have a wide range of roles, experience levels, and differing areas of expertise.
Annual Salary Range*: $150,000 - $200,000 / year (plus commission and/or performance bonus plan)
  • The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors.
