About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Intern (100% remote) to join our team. As the Business Development Intern, you will play an essential role in creating market awareness, identifying prospective clients, qualifying leads, and generating new business for the company.
Our Business Development Intern provides learning and development opportunities to build foundational sales and business skills within a progressive and high-growth company that is truly the future of staffing and recruitment.
This role will report directly to a Client Partner based in Los Angeles.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with Client Partners to understand the requirements-gathering process of client positions, including job functions, preferred skills, and hiring processes.
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest in order to stimulate opportunities.
- Build on new client leads through prospecting and skill marketing.
- Perform administrative-related tasks as required, such as updating & organizing accounts/contacts.
- Execute tactical account research, identify key players, and generate interest in order to stimulate opportunities.
- Work closely with Client Partners through shadowing calls and hands-on learning.
Qualifications
- Results-driven and team player.
- Strong Technical Aptitude, Microsoft Excel skills, communication skills, confidentiality, work ethic, and ability to learn quickly.
- Demonstrated a successful track record of achieving goals.
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week remotely (PST hours); internship crdeit
- Ability to commit to 3-6 month internship duration preferred.
- Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Entrepreneurship.
- Strong interest in retail and staffing sales.
