Global Lithium Energy Corp. (GLEC) is a wholly owned California corporation and subsidiary of GEOLIT Energy Co.Ltd (formerly known as G-Enone Energy), a KOSDAQ listed corporation building renewable energy systems, and a parent company for all Lithium business outside of South Korea, specializing in the acquisition of brine-based lithium sources (mainly geothermal and salt water) and implementation of XtraLit’s patented Direct Lithium Extraction (XL-DLE) Technology, with the objective of becoming a leading global provider of battery grade (>99.5wt%) Lithium Carbonate (Li2CO3) and Lithium Hydroxide (LiOH).

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Business Development Intern to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support our business development team in various activities including market research, geospatial mapping, and administrative work. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on lithium extraction operations.

The Candidate:

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the business development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining databases.
• Reporting: Assist in the preparation and presentation of findings and insights to the team to drive data-driven business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Previous internship experience in a similar role or industry is a plus.
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an interest in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Driver’s License with good driving skill
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Location:

• Irvine, CA with potential travel to Brawley, CA

Additional Information:

• Expected to work time is negotiable
• Start and end date negotiable
• This is a paid internship
