We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our tour booking business. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our company by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with partners and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base and increase revenue.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to develop effective strategies for business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, and other industry partners to negotiate and secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales presentations, and marketing campaigns to attract new clients.
- Conduct market research and participate in industry events and trade shows to stay updated on industry trends and identify potential business opportunities.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential partners and clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our tour booking services.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of tours and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development activities and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Track and report key metrics and sales data to management, providing regular updates on business development activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the travel and tourism industry.
- Strong understanding of the tour booking business and knowledge of market trends and competitors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of achieving business development targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage contacts, and generate reports.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events and trade shows as required.
