Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our tour booking business. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our company by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with partners and clients.


Responsibilities:


  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base and increase revenue.
  2. Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to develop effective strategies for business growth.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, and other industry partners to negotiate and secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales presentations, and marketing campaigns to attract new clients.
  5. Conduct market research and participate in industry events and trade shows to stay updated on industry trends and identify potential business opportunities.
  6. Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential partners and clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our tour booking services.
  7. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of tours and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development activities and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  9. Track and report key metrics and sales data to management, providing regular updates on business development activities and outcomes.



Requirements:



  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the travel and tourism industry.
  3. Strong understanding of the tour booking business and knowledge of market trends and competitors.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  5. Demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
  6. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of achieving business development targets.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  8. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, manage contacts, and generate reports.
  9. Willingness to travel and attend industry events and trade shows as required.
