Video Game Business Development Manager

Onward Play is rapidly expanding our national footprint and we are looking to hire an additional Business Development Manager to join our team, locally or remote.

Onward Play is the Gaming Division of Onward Search, an award-winning recruitment and staffing agency with the mission to connect the nation’s top gaming and immersive technology clients with the best Video Game, Entertainment, Device, VR/AR/MR software talent and resources. Experience/Qualifications:

• Strong past performance in achieving high-volume activity goals on a daily / weekly basis.
• Have at least 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience in the staffing industry with a focus on UX/UI/Creative/Experience Design consultants.
• Familiarity with Game Mechanic Elements, Game Development, and Industry best practices.
• Demonstrate a consultative, strategic sales approach as a subject matter expert with a passion for immersive and gaming technology.

Here's what your day will look like:

• Generate new business leads by leveraging your networks, social media, and various online technologies, to identify key prospects and develop new clients.
• Develop a career path into management.
• Provide ongoing account management, development, and new contact expansion across all managerial levels to create workforce solutions aligned to key goals and objectives.
• Serve as an industry advisor to clients as it relates to staffing trends in the gaming space.
• Locate new business opportunities by following Onwards 6 Phase Sales Process to identify, qualify and close target accounts.

Salary Range: (Negotiable based upon experience)

• $65,000 - $88,000 (this position is commission eligible).
