About the Role:

• In the role of Social Media Manager, you will report to our Senior Social Media Lead. Your focus will be on managing content calendars, scheduling, and posting on our social media channels, as well as monitoring analytics and reporting.
• Your primary responsibility is to strategize, write and create content. You are familiar with the social media landscape and intuitively understand the language and behavior of the connected gamer. You will need to be self-motivated, organized, and able to adapt quickly to ever-changing requirements.
• In this role, you will help manage and grow our social media channels and work oversee and execute on social media campaigns along with engaging with players on social media platforms.
• We develop games with a strong community focus and always put players first, in anything we do.

Responsibilities: With support from our Senior Social Media Lead:

• Work closely with the Social Media Art Lead to optimize and create great content for our social channels.
• Be responsible for monitoring, gathering, and analyzing data from our campaigns and posts.
• Provide strategic social media recommendations and support for our Creative Team in conceptualization and execution of assets for social media.
• Perform an audit of the specific channels you manage, their audience, and the specific key beats and propose a specific strategy that's aligned to the overarching social media strategy.
• Measure and analyze ROI
• Become a product expert specific to the channel you manage.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of our social media handles, including participating in content brainstorming sessions, keeping an eye on sentiment, responding to comments, creating, and scheduling social media copy, and regular reporting of performance, social listening themes and learnings.
• Investigate and share trends on new and existing social media channels and tools ensure we show up in the right place at the right time and stay relevant to our community.
• Create monthly reports with evaluations and learnings of content performance, including social listening.
• Keep track of post stats and report on content performance to grow and maintain our social channels (with focus on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).

Requirements:

• Copywriting experience for social media/short texts and an ability to easily adapt to tone of voice is desired.
• 5+ years of experience in managing high volume social media channels, preferably in the tech or gaming industries.
• Excellent written English.
• Comfortable contributing strategically as well as managing day-to-day tactical executions.
• Previous experience working with at least one social media management tool (such as Sprinklr, Sprout or Khoros).
• Analytically minded quantitative; excellent data analysis skills, with a focus on social media.
• Exceptional knowledge of social media, which means you stay up to date with new trends and features.
• A good understanding of which content is optimal for which social media platform and leverage this knowledge to empower your co-workers.
• Experience managing organic and paid social media campaigns.
• A big plus if you are a videogame player
