Job Description

Full Time

Onsite in Doral, Florida


This person will support the strategic development, curation and execution of communications plans while collaborating with brand marketing, corporate communications with JBS, HR personnel and other key stakeholders across the organization and within industry. Collaborate to develop and deliver communications strategies, content, and reporting and insights that support marketing objectives and key performance indexes.


Responsibilities:

  • Create & manage content and presentation for all-company Floor Meeting and forward meeting invites to new leaders.
  • Develop company engagement strategy & manage the calendar for all company engagement, training & talent initiatives.
  • Leverage relationships with JBS to develop tools for engagement & communication.
  • Develop communication templates for multiple departments including Product Development, Operations, IT, Training, Talent Acquisition, Asset Protection & more.
  • Plan & execute team member engagement events such as Mental Health Week, Holiday Celebrations, National Days, and more and partner with Regional HR Leaders to execute team member engagement events & communication initiatives.
  • Manage company budget for Engagement & Communication Initiatives and oversee the use of this budget by HR Leaders in the regions.
  • Develop communication strategies for company-wide communication including company changes.
  • Create & update all Email Distribution Lists including WFF-ALL.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Support Center & Operations and create and develop weekly content for Operational Huddle Helpers and all-company Weeklies
  • Partner with multiple departments to develop and streamline processes for communication & efficiency.
  • Create one-pagers and flyers for Operational & Support Center communication, product trainings, new campaigns & more.
  • Update Rapid Cast Groups for Item Recalls and partner with Asset Protection & Quality Assurance to draft and send text messages via Rapid Cast to designated groups for Crisis Management, Item Recalls & more.
  • Develop tools for capturing company information such as Smart Sheets & Hash Data.
  • Assist with communicating HR Key Priorities, Goals & Strategies to Leadership Team and Regional HR Leaders.
  • Implement DE&I initiatives throughout the company including Black History Month, Pride Month, and more.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Self-starter, flexible, results-driven, quick-learning personality that easily adapts to change
  • Discretion to identify threats and opportunities in user generated content
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Can be trusted with our company and brand reputations
  • Highly capable project manager with excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written /verbal communication skills, with a good command of English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Ability to work effectively and under pressure with a wide array of personalities and management styles including web owners, other content providers, agency partners, etc.
  • Appropriately screen and handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Understands social/digital media and proficient in Facebook, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Good proofreading skills, attention to detail is a must
  • Proven work experience in communications, with hands-on experience using social media for corporate/brand awareness
