Opening for a HR Generalist ( with US & Canada Employment Laws & Onboarding)

· If any experience with Brazil, Mexico, Panama a plus


Job Overview : The HR Generalist supports Employees, growing from 15 to 30 total in the next 2 years in US & Canada. Additional knowledge with Brazil, Mexico & Panama is plus.

Duties include:

  • Recruitment and shortlisting candidates, by supporting with job postings, process of identifying candidates, first round interviews for Leadership etc.
  • Contracts Review, ensuring templates are accurately customized.
  • Employee relations: ensuring compliance of Handbook policies in place; & according to regulations/laws associated with both US & Canada ; additional knowledge with Brazil, Mexico and Panama is a Plus. Standard related procedures for warnings, terminations, leave of absence, vacations etc.
  • Onboarding of US & Canada new hire employees : onto benefits, set up of standard misc. such as payroll, emails, equipment etc., related documentation and ensuring standard compliance - US & Canada most important; any additional knowledge with Brazil, Mexico and Panama is a Plus.
  • Misc. support to Management on HR related items.
