Job Title: HR Manager (Generalist)


Reports: HR Coordinator (1)


Reports to: CEO


Starting salary range: $65k to $75k per year DOE + Discretionary Annual Bonus

Summary Of Responsibilities


  • Conduct workplace investigations.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities (weekly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually.)
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.
  • Responsible for the full-cycle recruiting process
  • Work with multiple databases, including the financial database NetSuite.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations in florida and other states where remote employees are located.
  • Lead, maintain and conduct on-going improvement of the the talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Work closely with the CEO and the Executive teams to execute the CEO’s visions.
  • Administer all compensation and benefit plans, including bonuses, commission plans
  • Conduct employee onboarding, organize and conduct training & development initiatives, including the implementation of effective 90-day plans.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Organize semi-annual and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Requirements and skills:


  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • PHR, SPHR, BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field preferred.
  • Maintain and exceed basic on-going knowledge of HR related subjects for compliance.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Understand that all employees have an at-will employment relationship.
  • Advanced understanding of importance and urgency of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of all areas of HR compliance (hiring, firing, recruiting, safety, compensation, benefits, EEOC, etc.)
  • Management experience.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office; HRIS and Recruiting systems (e.g. PeopleSoft, JazzHR, LinkedIn).
  • Minimum of four (4+) years as a proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Additional HR training that include multiple states will be a plus.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
