Payroll / Accounts Payable Analyst

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll/AP Analyst to join our finance team. This position is responsible for processing all payroll transactions and managing accounts payable, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and timely. The ideal candidate will have experience with both payroll and accounts payable procedures and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve payroll and accounts payable discrepancies and answer employee inquiries.
• Manage all aspects of the accounts payable function including invoice processing, payment processing, and record keeping.
• Process payroll on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
• Prepare reports detailing accounts payables status.
• Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records related to payroll and accounts payable.
• Review, verify, and input data into the payroll system.
• Establish and maintain a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the payment of operating expenses.
• Coordinate efforts between payroll and human resources departments to ensure accurate flow and maintenance of employee data.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure correct employee data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll statements.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable.
