Accounts Payable Specialist Jobs

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and results-oriented individual to join our 10X team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle accounts payable processing.

Under the direction of the Senior Accounts Payable Manager, this individual will be an integral member of the accounting team. This individual will be a significant contributor to the accounting close and reporting process.

Individuals applying for this position must be initiative-takers, flexible in changing priorities, detail-oriented, results driven and thrive in a demanding environment. This individual must manage multiple priorities, effectively communicate with internal and external customers and vendors.

What You Will Be Doing

• Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements for payment according to company policy.
• Provide excellent customer service to all staff, vendors, clients, and contacts of the company.
• All other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
• Audit expense reports in compliance with the company Travel and Expense policy using the SAP Concur software.
• Verify timely process of payments in Oracle Fusion on approved invoices. Ascertain that all invoice documentation matches payments issued.
• Review and reconcile various vendor monthly statements.
• Perform 2-way and 3-way matching on invoices.
• Cross-train and perform other ad-hoc duties within the accounting department.
• Maintain and update vendor files by payee categories.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Strong computer skills; Excel and Word (intermediate level).
• 3+ years working full-cycle Accounts Payable including monthly, quarterly, and annual close responsibilities.
• General knowledge of accounting practices, including processing invoices for payment, journal entries, account reconciliation and analysis.
• Must be able to take full ownership of assignments and responsibilities.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience working in ERP systems. Knowledge of Oracle Fusion is a plus.
• Accounts payable function in life science industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of Concur is a plus
• Public company experience is a plus.

Below is the base pay range for this full time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program. $72,000—$88,000 USD
