We're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our finance and accounting team. As an accounts payable clerk, you will manage and drive the day-to-day global procurement function for our multi-entity company. You'll also work closely with the director of finance and other finance team members on all aspects of the close process, reporting, audits, and various ad-hoc projects. This is a rare opportunity to learn a variety of skills with plenty of room for growth.

Your opportunity:

• Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely and accurate manner across multiple entities
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any issues related to billing and payments
• Provide support for external financial audit/review and other finance packages
• Assist in handling both local and international sales tax compliance and registrations
• Support the annual filing of the 1099 preparation
• Actively participate in other ad-hoc projects as assigned
• Assist in identifying any process improvements through automation

What you bring:

• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and cross-functionally with other departments
• Knowledge of intercompany and multi currency transactions
• Desire to learn and broaden accounting and tax knowledge (company will sponsor training and/or CPA prep materials)
• 1–2 years in previous accounting roles, preferably at a SaaS or marketplace industry
• Experience with marketplace accounting and/or global sales tax a big plus

• We use NetSuite, Bill.com, and Navan (If you don't have experience in these specific systems, you can learn with us!)
• Role reports to the director of finance

Awesome is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $35,000 - $85,000. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as defined competency leveling and geographic location.
