Job Details


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team in the construction industry. As a Permanent Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor management, check disbursement, vendor statement reconciliations, check requests, employee expenses, 3-way matching, monitoring recurring expenses, weekly check runs, wire and ACH payments, manual check processing, aging, vendor credit applications, and monitoring subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounts payable and a bachelor's degree is preferred. This is a full-time, permanent position with growth opportunities within the company.


Responsibilities


  • Monitor recurring expenses and ensure timely payment
  • Disburse checks to vendors and ensure timely payment
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
  • Monitor subcontractors and ensure timely payment
  • Process vendor credit applications
  • Run weekly check runs and process wire and ACH payments
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues that arise
  • Process check requests and employee expenses
  • Process invoices accurately and timely
  • Manage aging reports and ensure timely payment
  • Process manual checks as needed
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies


Qualifications


  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus
