Accounts Payable Clerk Jobs

Preston Pipelines Inc. is seeking a full-time experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. Candidate must have experience with Accounts Payables, work well under pressure, and be highly organized. Candidate must also be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. This position is in a very high volume and fast paced environment. TIMBERLINE/TIMBERSCAN EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

Accounts Payable Clerk Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior accountant with accounting analysis
• Review all invoices for proper authorization and approval
• Schedule invoices for payment weekly by due date
• Complete other related assignments as requested
• Perform weekly accounts payable check disbursement
• Enter invoices with payment due dates in the accounts payable system
• Responsible for performing all accounts payable and assigned accounting activities

Accounts Payable Clerk Qualifications and Abilities:

• Good customer service skills
• 2 - 4+ years’ experience in accounting related field
• High level of organization skills and capability to perform multiple tasks concurrently
• TIMBERLINE/TIMBERSCAN experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft software applications: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Good written and verbal communication skills
