Your Role
As an Interior Designer at IIG | Select, you will play a vital role in the development, implementation, and creation of design concepts for small to mid-sized projects. You'll work closely with Senior Designers, Project Managers, and Studio Directors, and your passion for design excellence and team collaboration will shine through.
Key Responsibilities
Showcasing an expert eye for color, texture, and pattern, while staying knowledgeable about durability standards, installation, and construction methods.
Collaborating with vendors for contract hospitality sourcing, ensuring seamless coordination and procurement.
Selecting interior finishes and furnishings, adhering to project budgets and brand standards with guidance from the senior team.
Utilizing technical knowledge to create specifications and coordinate the installation of FF&E furnishings and interior design contract documents.
Applying expertise in hotel standards, fire codes, and ADA accessibility requirements for interior design.
Crafting digital design presentations, including drawings, 3D Massing, illustrations, and material palettes.
Working closely with the team to create project specification binders and manage project budgets.
Coordinating with consultants, managing multiple priorities, and modeling an organized approach to design.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design (required).
In-progress NCIDQ, LEED-AP, and/or State Licensure is desirable.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
2+ years of hospitality design experience preferred.
Sketching skills and knowledge of contract hospitality sourcing are beneficial.
