Contract Duration: 3-6 months

Hourly Rate: $35 - $65

Overview:

Client: Entertainment/Advertising company

Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition: Source, identify, and attract highly skilled and innovative creative professionals for various positions within the entertainment company, including but not limited to film, television, animation, gaming, and live events.
2. Job Posting and Advertising: Write compelling and captivating job descriptions, create eye-catching advertisements, and strategically post job openings on relevant platforms, industry-specific websites, and social media channels to attract the best candidates.
3. Candidate Screening: Review resumes, portfolios, demo reels, and other application materials to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience. Conduct initial screenings and phone interviews to shortlist candidates.
4. Talent Assessment and Interviewing: Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' technical expertise, artistic abilities, cultural fit, and potential for success in the entertainment industry.
5. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with creative professionals, industry organizations, schools, and other talent sources to build a pipeline of top talent for future opportunities.
6. Coordination and Negotiation: Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Facilitate the negotiation and offer process, ensuring fair compensation and optimal terms for both the candidate and the entertainment company.
7. Talent Management: Collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to provide feedback, advice, and recommendations regarding the hiring process, market trends, and competitive compensation packages to attract and retain top creative talent.
8. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and job-related documentation using our internal systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates and hiring managers
• Proven track record of successfully filling creative positions in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with legal and compliance considerations in recruitment, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations
• Strong knowledge of the entertainment industry, including current trends, key players, and specialized roles
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in creative or advertising recruitment, preferably within the entertainment industry
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
