University Recruiter (Contract)

We are looking to add a University Recruiter to our University Team. This contract role is located in our San Jose, CA office with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

This job reports to: Sr. Manager, Talent- University Programs

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate, plan and manage Samsung's virtual open house.
• Partner with employee Alumni to further strengthen our reach within desired universities and host info sessions partnering with professors and faculty of core universities.
• Collaborate with business leaders and hiring managers to develop, implement, and execute a custom hiring strategy resulting in a diverse pipeline and hires based on current business needs
• Sourcing top talent students from core universities. Screening and qualifying numerous applicants. Presenting and creating offers to selected students.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, internal team members, and executives to manage expectations across all levels of the company
• Organize and execute small-to-large scale recruiting and employment branding events for university recruiting
• Plan, host, and attend, fall recruiting events, info sessions, and campus career fairs, to build employer brand awareness among students
• Help build relationships with key stakeholders and representatives of University organizations to help drive DE&I initiatives that will help in the hiring of students in underrepresented groups
• Partner with and help execute on University Relations Program
• Manage timeline for recruiting process to ensure we are competitive with industry standards

What You Bring

• Experience with external vendors is a plus
• Experience using key recruiting metrics and data to influence internal customers
• Experience with presenting to leadership and stakeholders
• Experience creating, building and managing programs
• Greenhouse ATS experience highly preferred
• 3+ years experience in university recruiting at a tech company
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and prioritization skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner
• Dedication to constantly improving candidate experience, hiring processes, and yourself
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Experience working cross-functionally with hiring managers at all levels
• Ability to act as a consultant through the hiring process, immigration, compliance, compensation, leveling guidelines, etc.

The pay range below is for all roles at this level across all US locations and functions. Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Base Pay Range

$45—$60 USD
