Job Description
Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruiter is responsible for the day-to-day talent acquisition of TVHC assigned open positions including, but not limited to: tracking open positions, sourcing qualified candidates, identifying potential candidates through various sources, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, assisting with interviews, generating job offer letters, on-boarding paperwork, and coordinating and communicating with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. The Specialist will be responsible for training hiring managers on recruitment and interview guidelines to improve the overall quality of interviews and avoid discrimination claims.


This Recruiter may also participate in the onboarding process, write and update job descriptions, manage the National Health Service Corps (NHSC program), complete special projects, and attend various TVHC and local HR meetings and various job fairs.


This individual may also serve as the first point of contact for general HR questions regarding employment, recruitment, benefits, personnel policy, or other related inquiries.


This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday.


Compensation: $60,000 - $77,000, depending on experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Sources candidates, screens and recommends candidates to hiring managers, conducts phone screens and/or in person interviews and communicates with hiring manager throughout the process
  • Maintains working relationships with outside recruitment firms
  • Develops innovative and diverse strategies related to recruitment
  • Track and report staffing and recruitment activities, as requested, to include such items as an open position report, and tracking and reporting on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate retention/turnover, and other reports, as assigned
  • Provides recruitment guidelines and interview trainings to new and existing hiring managers
  • Manage projects as assigned by supervisor and/or HR managers in the department
  • Create strategies to increase the visibility of TVHC’s openings by partnering with schools, and sourcing recruitment platforms to post
  • Presents verbal job offers to candidates and creates and presents offer letter via DocuSign
  • Collects feedback on the process and works with hiring manager to improve the interview process.
  • Confirms standard operating procedures are in place and consistently delivered via TVHC’s onboarding program to ensure all documents (offer letter, practice agreement, loan agreement, I-9, etc.) are completed and appropriately stored according to the organization’s policies and procedures in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Develops sample pre-screening phone and interview questions for hiring managers.
  • Manages administrative aspects of search strategies for each assigned position which includes posting positions to various job boards and web sites, contacting local employment offices, attending job fairs, etc. Prepares eye-catching job postings using different avenues (website, academia, traditional media, social media, referral, staffing firms, etc.)
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Able to fully understand and maintain candidate experience in current applicant tracking software and other tools


Requirements


  • Must have experience with offer negotiations.
  • High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Minimum two-years experience in recruitment required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required, including creativity and resourcefulness

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to make updates and changes to procedures and documentation as needed, professional demeanor with a high regard for confidentiality

  • Must be able to travel to various TVHC sites and locations, as needed
  • Customer service and communication skills toward internal and external stakeholders, solid decision making and mature communication
  • Network abilities to build long term relationships internally and externally
