Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative full time Photographer who will support the Creative

team. This individual should be experienced in photography, lighting, and has a successful track record in the fashion and e-commerce industry. The Creative Photographer is responsible for producing high quality digital images of products and models, as well as assisting photographers during their photo shoots.

Responsibilities

• Must be a team player and help out the creative team when needed on set
• Work both collaboratively and proactively with the creative team in providing/exchanging creative directions, creative inputs, and creative ideas.
• Ensure to bring the necessary and proper equipment/lighting needed for each shoot
• Set up lighting and composition, ensuring products are represented accurately, and in line with Brand guidelines
• Ensure product is accurately represented. Adjust the shot list and lighting as needed to capture details and the full look and feel of the product
• Organize digital files to ensure integrity and accessibility – follow procedures for naming, saving and archiving images
• Job responsibilities may change due to business needs
• Maintain exposure and color accuracy standards while producing a high volume of images
• Perform quality assurance and feedback on images as necessary
• Partner with in-house photo retouchers to ensure images are moving through color correction workflow.
• Location scouting and evaluate possible areas to shoot, and understand location’s light, determine what equipment to bring, and make notes on real-time observations.
• Must be willing to travel
• Execute digital photography, as assigned on per lookbook basis, that supports key photographic initiatives set by the Creative Team
• Partner with creative coordinators, stylists, and other creative team members to ensure photography needs are met and are all aligned on achieving final creative goals
• Partner with Producer and Creative Team on the daily/weekly shot list to maximize efficiencies when applicable
• Work both collaboratively and proactively with on-site and remote creative teams to understand specific brand art direction and help to influence the photographic “look and feel” of a season.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2- 4+ years of experience in photography within the fashion E-Commerce industry
• Extensive knowledge of common digital cameras (Canon DSLRs), various lighting environments (Strobe, LED), and other photo best practices
• Proficient with CaptureOne platform
• Ability to shoot multiple product types across a variety of categories
• Knowledge of basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Demonstrated ability to handle high volume studio workflow, executing imagery under tight deadlines including planning and prioritization
• Must have knowledge and experience within studio and natural lighting; able to achieve basic and extensive lighting on location and in studio
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with processing imagery and CaptureOne editing

Pay: $22 - $31 Hourly
