Job Description

Currie & Brown is looking for a recruiter to join our growing US recruitment team. The recruiter is responsible for the full lifecycle and high-volume recruiting of technical construction positions within the United States. We are fast-growing, team-orientated and extremely passionate about the industry and clients we serve.


*This position will be based in our San Francisco office.


Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

  • Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress
  • Participating and leading company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition and recruitment
  • Partnering with business leaders to influence and deliver quality assessments and high-touch candidate experience throughout the lifecycle recruiting process
  • Partnering with business leaders to determine future talent needs and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding of extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our technical and cultural demands
  • Undertaking special projects which help drive positive workplace culture and positive business results; this includes project work involving compilation of data, researching, creating and preparing reports
  • Maintaining current recruitment processes and procedures and ensuring recruitment best practices are being followed
  • Performing full lifecycle recruiting to attract top tier candidates
  • Identifying new methods to streamline the recruitment cycle
  • Serving as a liaison with colleges and industry associations


Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize and act with urgency
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, and other resume management tools
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, teamwork and willingness to learn
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and carrying large requisition loads
  • A minimum of five to ten years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition in the construction industry
