Role Overview
As the Sales Director - Sporting Goods and Hardware, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth trajectory. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to position us as a consultative partner in the industry, driving revenue and fostering relationships. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to be part of our rapidly growing organization from wherever you are located. The role involves up to 50% travel nationally, offering exciting opportunities to engage with trade shows and events.
Key Responsibilities
Lead core account growth and new customer acquisition to enhance revenue and profitability.
Collaborate with marketing to develop consumer-facing marketing plans within the trade budget.
Guide independent manufacturer rep groups in executing the sales strategy.
Cultivate and manage relationships with customers, distributors, brokers, and colleagues.
Coordinate and participate in national trade shows, aligning efforts with marketing and the broker network.
Stay attuned to market dynamics and industry trends, providing insights for sustainable business growth.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to expedite ideas and their implementation.
Uphold a culture of accountability, teamwork, and results-driven performance.
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
5+ years of leadership experience in CPG sales.
Flexible home office location, preferably in the Chicago area or the Midwest near a major airport.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally.

Exempt role.
Up to 50% travel.
Based out of Overland Park, KS Corporate Office.
Compensation range of $140,000 to $160,000, with a 30% bonus opportunity.
