Job Summary
As our Claims Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing a caseload of temporary housing claims. Your expertise and guidance will ensure that each claim is successfully closed, and you'll have the chance to build strong relationships with insurance adjusters, ensuring a long-term and positive business connection.
Essential Responsibilities
Take charge of managing a caseload of temporary housing claims, achieving monthly closing goals.
Keep open lines of communication with insurance adjusters and our internal team, providing exceptional service throughout the claims process.
Be a problem solver and find effective housing solutions that meet both the needs of the insurance adjusters and policyholders.
Forge strong working relationships with customers, including insurance adjusters and vendors.
Collaborate with the Sales team to identify potential business opportunities and share valuable insights.
Present housing options to insurance adjusters and relay information to our internal team.
Review, interpret, and make recommendations on lease terms/contracts related to temporary housing needs.
Create clear summaries of charges for insurance adjusters at the conclusion of each claim.
Maintain meticulous records and update our company database for internal use.
Ensure each insurance adjuster and policyholder receives exceptional customer service throughout the process.
Job Requirements
While a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, a High School diploma is required.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a sales or service industry is desired.
Real Estate, Temporary Housing, or Property Management experience is strongly preferred.
Bring your strong work ethic and determination to exceed claims goals.

Demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Shine with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and possess strong computer skills related to typing and data entry.

Master time management and juggle multiple priorities effectively.
Embrace a flexible work schedule, which may include evenings and weekends.
Work Environment And Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, you'll communicate verbally and in writing, interacting with staff and customers. The role requires standing, walking, sitting, using hands through fingers, handling or feeling, and reaching with hands and arms.
This full-time position may require a flexible schedule, including evening and/or weekend coverage. Additionally, on-call responsibilities/support may be scheduled by management.
