Position: Director of Communications
Are you an expert in written and verbal communication with an eye for detail? Do you have a passion for crafting engaging brand narratives and leading teams to creative excellence? If so, we're eager to welcome you to our Marketing & Communications team as our Director of Communications!
Responsibilities
Develop and implement an impactful communications strategy that reflects our brand and drives key business objectives
Create compelling press releases, media pitches, and messaging to showcase our unique market position
Collaborate with the leadership team to shape our PR narrative and company vision
Oversee our social media and content marketing strategy to engage our audience effectively
Provide communications counsel and media training to our leaders, ensuring our message reaches a wide array of audiences
Lead communication campaigns for new product launches and company initiatives
Manage crisis communications with grace and expertise
Conduct communications research, audience analysis, and develop communication policies
Inspire and guide our talented team of communications professionals to achieve greatness
Foster collaborations across teams to ensure successful project delivery and high-quality deliverables
Cultivate partnerships within and outside the company to gain recognition for our initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
10+ years of marketing and communications experience at fast-growing technology companies (Ad Tech experience is a plus!)
Proven leadership experience with a remote and dispersed team
Strong understanding of the media and PR landscape with established reporter relationships
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a talent for storytelling
Hands-on experience in copywriting and proofreading
Ability to collaborate with C-suite executives and provide strategic advice
Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of business
Data-driven mindset with the ability to make informed decisions in a rapidly changing environment
Detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-focused
High adaptability and excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to travel occasionally for events and team gatherings
