About The Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services for our establishment. Your role will involve strategic sourcing, negotiation, and building strong relationships with suppliers. You'll be instrumental in optimizing our procurement processes, contributing to our success and growth.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and enhance our supplier network based on factors like price, quality, selection, and service.
Secure top-quality merchandise at the best possible prices and quantities.
Review purchase orders, solicit bids, and assess requisitions for goods and services.
Provide guidance to resolve issues related to deliveries.
Mentor staff on negotiation tactics, contract administration, and effective communication with suppliers.
Collaborate with teams, users, and vendors to address issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor contract performance, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
