Medical Enrollment & Intake Specialist - Remote | Wfh

As an Eligibility Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients' access to essential state, federal, or county programs. Key Responsibilities
Assess the eligibility of patients for state, federal, or county programs with compassion and precision.
Manage a case load efficiently while meeting productivity benchmarks.
Cultivate and nurture professional relationships with hospital staff, patients, and state representatives.
Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of documents to facilitate seamless processes.
Uphold and advocate for organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
Embrace a flexible approach by undertaking additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree; Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Display exceptional customer service skills to provide a supportive experience for patients.
Demonstrate effective problem-solving and case management abilities.
Proficiency in utilizing technology, including phone systems, computers, and Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Communicate effectively through written and verbal channels.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Medicaid, Social Security Administration, and County Social Service programs.
Knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH patient confidentiality laws to safeguard patient, client, and company information.
Understanding of major hospital systems and the healthcare environment.
