Regional Sales Representative (West Region)

REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE: REGION WEST SALES

JOB SUMMARY

The regional sales representative will be responsible for representing and selling a cool roof coat directly to end customers within the following states: Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Close consistent sales within the roofing market with a monthly target of $125,000.
• Build customer relationships in the roofing market within the specified territory.
• Collaborate with certified installers to complete bid sheets for individual roofing jobs.
• Oversee post inspection analysis with cool roof certified installers to sign off on completed jobs.
• Collaborate with certified installers to inspect roofing sites to determine roof status and viability as a candidate for the cool roof product.
• Manage ongoing relationships with roofing clients in between individual jobs.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Occasionally act as a subject matter expert as the business continues to develop additional training manuals and sales collateral for cool roof partner enablement program.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert on the roofing market.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven success in building customer relationships and maintaining a sales target.
• Ability to diagnose problems quickly and effectively, and foresee potential issues.
• Detailed understanding of the roofing market and how to convert new product lines into sales.
• 10+ years of experience working within the roofing industry.
• Experience working with general contractors.
• Strong social, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Understanding of sales strategy.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Strong familiarity with CRM process and sales stage gating

BENEFITS & TARGETS

• Benefits package available upon completion of Series A funding round
• Monthly commission over target = 10% of gross
• Monthly commission up to target = 8% of gross
• Six week ramp up
• $100,000 base salary
• OTE $200,000
• Monthly target $125,000 gross sales
