Overview

Position Purpose


The Franchise Operations Manager at Regis Corporation will be responsible for effectively understanding and communicating all company initiatives to the franchisees across all brands. This role, reporting to the Franchise Director, will be responsible for establishing and continuously fostering strong relationships to effectively impact franchisees' business performance and provide support in specific business areas.


Responsibilities


  • Work closely with franchisees to ensure that performance measures set by the company are met
  • Work on additional projects to support business needs as assigned by the Franchise Director
  • Inform and educate franchisees on new programming and support strategies developed by the company, including but not limited to areas such as technology, merchandising, and brand standards
  • Focus on franchisees' business performance to understand challenges and offer solutions that will contribute to the franchisees' business
  • Formulate relevant and timely communication to franchisees
  • Support company processes and compliance by communicating directly with franchisees that are in default to determine resolution (i.e. lease default, bad debt, salon closures, brand standards, etc.)
  • Complete business reviews and formulate recommendations in partnership with the Franchise Director to increase franchisee performance across multiple functional business areas
  • Build and maintain business relationships with franchisees
  • Support movement of salons from low-performing franchisees to high-performing franchisees, assisting in the growth of larger franchisees


Qualifications


  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present information in an engaging and understandable manner to help franchisees adopt and support company-directed initiatives
  • Minimum 1 years' experience influencing others through coaching and accountability preferred
  • Must be located in the Pacific Standard Time zone, preferably the West Coast
  • Minimum 1 years' related franchise operations consulting experience
  • Conflict management, analytical, and time-management skills
  • Experience in the hair or other related industry preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or 3+ years' equivalent business experience such as business ownership, management, or consultant experience


Phsyical Requirements


  • Ability to tolerate frequent exposure during salon visits to various chemicals and fragrances used in performing salon services including, without limitation, permanent solutions, straightening solutions, shampoos, conditioners, hair spray, and client perfume
  • Ability to travel by air or by car with overnight lodging up to 50% of the time
  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time during salon visits
