We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead a team of talented Account Executives ! In this role, you’ll provide strategic leadership for the sale of HiMama to an assigned region. You’ll lead a regional sales team and be responsible for achieving overall regional sales goals and activities as well as responsible for collaborating closely with other sales managers and cross functional leaders. This role supports the sales team with the implementation of strategic plans and the development of effective strategies for key accounts. You’ll provide ongoing training, mentorship, and supervision to account executives, team leads, associate account executives and sales development representatives in support of their efforts to develop, support, and retain new and existing clients. You’ll act as a team player and coach and have direct involvement with larger prospects, customers, and state and territory initiatives. The Sales Team


Sales at Himama is a high-energy, collaborative and ambitious team that is striving to drive accelerated growth of our business. We have a strong team mentality and a desire to work hard and win to support our customers.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Ensuring the customer has an amazing HiMama experience!
  • Working closely with your manager on strategies to increase pipeline in specific areas of focus
  • Manage, analyze & present metrics related to team performance & KPIs
  • Auditing team activity for process adherence and holding team members accountable
  • Acting as the advocate for our customer base internally
  • Providing them with coaching, support and direction, this will include regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and call coaching sessions
  • Building training and development for new hires, and ongoing development of the team (playbooks, call rubrics, etc.)
  • Ensuring that we have a fun team dynamic and building out a winning culture
  • Leading our team of Associate Account Executives and SDRs who are responsible for uncovering net new business as well as selling to our SMB segment
  • Devising plans and managing execution to meetings booked/ARR targets
  • Working with product to ensure we are making decisions in the best interest of our users
  • Finding ways to improve process and cut down on customer issues


What We're Looking For:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a transactional Sales role, preferably in the Ed Tech/Educational industry, or Curriculum Sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to create & foster relationships with customers
  • Growth minded, a continuous learner, perpetually excited to refine their skills & set bigger goals
  • Excellent coach and mentor
  • Organized and able to manage a large volume of tasks independently
  • Active listening and problem solving skills
  • Tenacious & resilient with the ability to push past hurdles to achieve targets
  • Previous Team lead experience, or leading a team preferred
