Position Description:

As the Commercial Sales Director at AEG Fuels, you will be a key driver of growth for our jet fuel distribution business in Alaska, Canada, and the West Coast, with a focus on Commercial passenger and cargo airlines. You will lead the charge in identifying and securing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing deal flow. You are an ambitious, driven sales professional with a hunger for success and a passion for building relationships, and providing value add solutions to our airline partners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor market trends and developments within the airline industry and adapt sales strategy accordingly
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the jet fuel industry and stay up-to-date on market trends and regulations impacting the business and airlines
  • With a focus on Commercial passenger and Cargo airlines, represent the company as the main point of contact (POC) for a series of AEG’s airline partners within the North American Commercial portfolio.
  • Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within the industry
  • Execute, further develop, and implement AEG’s 5-year North American growth strategy to achieve volume under management (VoM) and revenue growth targets and maximize return on capital.
  • Collaborate with other internal departments, such as Supply, Bulk Logistics/Operations, and Finance, to ensure smooth execution of sales and delivery of jet fuel to our airline partners
  • Negotiate contracts and location pricing directly with airlines during annual fuel RFP/tendering processes


Required Skills and Experience:

**** AVIATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ****

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A minimum of 7 years of sales experience, preferably in the jet fuel and aviation industry or a related field
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Applications (Office, Outlook, Excel)
  • Travel and attend industry events as needed (expected 30% of the time)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving sales and revenue growth
  • Knowledge and experience with SalesForce
