We provide turnkey interior design services for the commercial housing industry - multifamily, student, and home builders. We are designers, not decorators. Mood’s Interior Designers play an integral role in supporting key phases of a design project's lifecycle in collaboration and partnership with our clients. They are creative innovators with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building and maintaining relationships.

The right candidate will have the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, while being detail oriented, self-sufficient, curious, and dependable with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
Specifics:
- Develop, design, and manage client projects from start to finish
- Establish and maintain relationships with a variety of vendors/resources
- Live Mood Values: Teamwork, Transparency, Boldness, Continuous Learning
- Develop or update layouts of a specific spaces using CAD or Revit software
- Create detailed concept and design board presentations
- Source FF&E according to design goals and budget
- Assess and interpret“The Design Story” for client projects
- Participate in projectinstallations: warehouse coordination, furniture placement, accessorizing and styling of spaces, including light furniture moving and unboxing goods.
We Need You To Have:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Preferred experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Highly creative, artistic, and organized
- Good judgment, eager to learn and have a professional, supportive attitude
- Motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment
- 3-5 years of Multifamily, Student Housing and/or Hospitality interior design experience.
- Excellent communication skills
- 75% Travel Required
- Google Docs, Canva, Slack experience
- Interior Design BA/BFA or relevant experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel locally or out of state
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
- Licensed to drive an automobile
- Project installs entail prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
Job Type: Full Time. 100% Remote.
Salary: $75,000/year
