REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (West)
Preferred Start Date: September 2023
Location: Los Angeles – Home Based
Region: Southwest/West (CA, AZ, TX, CO, UT, OR, WA)
Reporting: US Based, Director of Sales

Role: The role is designed to identify, support, and deliver existing and new account growth opportunities in the specified region
§To provide sales growth, through brand support, to the St Pierre US business, covering regional US distributors, grocery, club and natural/specialty channels in your defined region
§Lead and help manage the broker teams to execute the sales process
§Develop strategies and plans for the St Pierre brand that deliver against the US performance expectations.Exceed budgeted sales targets, control spend and deliver profit against brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and keep live annual account plans to deliver and communicate business objectives
- Drive the accuracy and delivery of monthly, annual sales forecasts and reforecasts, as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Work closely to give advice and support to leadership, sales, ops & marketing team members
- Work with our Distributors and brokers to close voids and deliver New Product Launch plans (distribution, display and sales targets)
- Actively contribute to all relevant team meetings
- Take an active approach with you manager to identify your own personal and technical development plan
- Help negotiate agreement of a Joint Business Plan with your top customers, in the agreed region, that deliver objectives
- Set up, manage, measure and optimize ROI of trade spend at all levels – distributor, customer; OI, Scan, MCB, etc.
- Delivery within spend budget and promotional guidelines
- Work with brand manager and brokers to drive customer range review delivery, post review evaluation and future recommendations for St Pierre business development
- Ensure and maintain the appropriate invoice pricing by customer/region
- Keep up to date with product/service developments
- Negotiate and deliver an annual promotional program, ensuring that promotions are communicated, forecasted, delivered, and evaluated.
- Identify opportunities in growing existing customer base and potential customer base
- Align with operations teams to ensure quality customer service
- Accurately track, manage and clear all customer allowances, deductions and subsequent claims to maintain ROI
·Ensure customers are aware of brand proposition, brand story, range(s) available and brand support
- Assist with planning and execution of St Pierre events, trade shows and brand activations
Qualifications and Expectations:
·Regional Travel up to 70%
·Proven, all round commercial business acumen, with at least 5-10 years’ experience in a premium CPG environment.
·Passion for premium food & beverage is essential.
·Experience of the Bakery Channel, customers, brokers, distributors preferred.
·A working knowledge of industry data sources and analysis
·Excellent negotiation and communication skills
·Strong analytical skills, business savvy, strong multitasking
·Budget management and data analysis experience
·Must hold a passport, to be able to travel internationally occasionally.
