The City of Laguna Beach Human Resources & Risk Management Department have an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join our team! This position will support the department in running full cycle recruitments for exciting positions such as Ocean Lifeguard, Police and Fire positions, Trolley Drivers and seasonal hires! If you can work independently while contributing to a team effort we need you!

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination demonstrating the ability to effectively and successfully perform the duties of the position is considered qualifying. A typical combination is as follows:

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.

Experience: At least two years of relevant experience.

License/Certificate Requirements: Due to the performance of some field duties, which may require the operation of a personal or City vehicle, a valid California Driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.

Supplemental Information

Pre-employment Process: Selected candidates must successfully pass a fingerprint check with the State Department of Justice.

Schedule: This is a temporary, hourly position that is expected to work 30-40 hours per week through November 2023. The City's business hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday (with alternating Fridays off). This position is eligible for a hybrid, half-time telecommuting schedule. The schedule and hours are subject to change with reasonable advanced notice.
