Human Resources (Hr) Coordinator

Description

Robert Half currently has an opening for a Human Resources Coordinator to join their staff. The Human Resources Assistant will own a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This short-term contract / temporary opportunity is with a company in the Healthcare industry and is based in the Altadena, California area. This entry level position is perfect for someone looking to break into the HR field!

What you get to do every single day

• Maintain employee personnel files
• Process payroll changes, like adjusting titles and compensation changes
• Manage a number of administrative duties

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of customer service
• HRIS experience preferred
• Capability to interact with all levels of staff in a rapidly quickly changing environment while maintaining an approachable and appropriate demeanor
• Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
• Proficiency with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information

This position is Monday - Friday, 9 - 5 pm onsite in Altadena. We offer medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K and tuition reimbursement.
