As the wider Twelve team builds for the future of climate, we're focused on ensuring we scale our people and talent programs as thoughtfully as we scale our product. Within Talent, the University & Emerging Talent Team specializes in building programs and effectively hiring for new grad and emerging talent roles across the entire organization.


Job Brief


As a member of the University & Emerging Talent Team, the Technical Recruiter will work alongside scientific and industry experts to identify and understand hiring needs. They will be responsible for recruiting and hiring top talent into our mission-driven organization. We are seeking a recruiting professional who is driven to work in a dynamic and innovative startup environment, and who is passionate about recruiting diverse, technical talent.


This is a fixed-term role with a work duration of 6 months.


What You Will Do


  • Partner with managers across the organization to hire for Twelve's first E-Jet® manufacturing facility!
  • Source and engage exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while providing a top-notch candidate experience.
  • Use a data-driven approach to identify gaps and continuously improve recruiting operations and interview practices.
  • Conduct resume reviews, preliminary screens, and guide hiring teams through interview processes while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Create and maintain a consistent volume of active candidate pipelines across multiple roles/skillsets.
  • Work with best-in-class technical teams to build diverse cohorts of technicians, operators, interns and co-ops.
  • Create and implement best practices for high-volume recruiting across the company.
  • Coach and develop new hiring managers regarding hiring best practices.
  • Successfully manage a high-volume candidate pipeline to hire for University & Emerging Talent roles, including full-time and intern/co-op, across various technical teams, including sourcing, pipeline development, and evaluation of candidates based on their experience, skills, goals, and competencies.


Who You Are


  • You are able to work autonomously in an environment where priorities and requirements change frequently.
  • You have experience recruiting in one or more of the following deeptech industries: chemicals, biotech, manufacturing, robotics, hardware, materials science, renewables, oil & gas, and/or aerospace.
  • You are highly organized and able to manage multiple candidates and requisitions at one time while also maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • You are excited about new technologies. You are highly motivated to expand your knowledge by learning from others as well as doing your own research.
  • You're a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • You have experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, talent data analytics, and sourcing tools (bonus if you've used Greenhouse, Gem, HireEZ, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Demonstrated prior success recruiting for high-volume technical positions (such as technicians and operators) is highly desired.
  • This role may require occasional travel within the continental United States.
  • You have experience as a technical recruiter in high growth, fast-paced technology environments (in-house experience preferred).

At Twelve, it's important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements, Twelve conducts exhaustive research to understand compensation markets. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.


United States Wage Range: $10,800 - $13,300/month


Please note that some pay bands may have wide ranges of compensation to accommodate candidate's diverse sets of skill levels.
