Human Resources Recruitment Assistant

Position: HR Recruitment Assistant

Location: Alameda Oakland CA USA 94612- (1 or twice a week)

Duration: 6+ Months (Possibility to extend)

Pay: $21/hr on W2

Job Details

Performs a variety of clerical and technical support functions within Human Resources service Center.

High-volume reception, phones and mail handling.

Accept, process, screen and administer tests for incoming applicants.

Knowledge of EEO laws and AA policies and union contract provisions.

Process transactions within HRSC pertaining to new hires, benefits, pay, transfers, applicant referrals.

Participates and assists with special projects/programs.

Typing 40-50 wpm.

Working knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel spreadsheets).

Candidates must be local to the location, as they will be required to come in office a few days a week to conduct I9's- Candidate needs to be local Vallejo/Novato

Excel Skills

Top Daily Responsibilities: This role communicate with the New hires and Managers often.

They manage the On-boarding Hires: Run Background Checks/ Process New Hire & Transfer Paperwork/ collect LCRCs; Schedule EHS, NEO, I9 appts.
