Job Description

Job Function:


As a Human Resources Generalist, reporting to the Manager of Corporate Recruiting, you will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, data analytics, and new employee onboarding and continued training. This position requires a high attention to detail, administrative work, and excellent interpersonal skills.


Essential Functions:


  • Manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Contribute to and maintain accurate HRIS data.
  • Markets and posts openings on various sources to publicize our career opportunities.
  • Responsible for recruitment, including posting positions, coordinating the applicant tracking system, scheduling interviews, and handling all forms of communication with prospective employees.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs to generate qualified applicants.
  • Conducts new employee orientations.
  • Manage internal employee referral program.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assists in completing forms I-9 and verifies I-9 documentation.
  • Administer the on-boarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain records and files in accordance with state and federal laws.
  • Ensures background checks are completed.


Education:


Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent


Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:


HR certifications (aPHR, PHR, etc.) preferred


Relevant Work Experience:


1 to 3 years in related field


Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork -- desire and ability to build trusting and professional relationships with team members and provide a positive and motivating influence.
  • Experience with an ATS (ADP/Workday a plus).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Multitasking -- capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities at once and keep work moving forward and completed on time.
  • Basic knowledge of HR laws.
